Adriatic Bank a.d. Belgrade carries out payment operations by adapting to client requirements and respecting the legal regulations that regulate the functioning of payment operations.

The functioning of the payment transaction is carried out through the Directorate for the Payment System of the National Bank of Serbia using the system for the execution of payment transactions: the system of large payments in real time (RTGS system) and the clearing system of the NBS Clearing Center.

In addition to cash operations in all branches of our Bank, with our electronic banking you can enjoy all the advantages of cashless operations and lower prices for e-banking payment orders.

We note a significant increase in payment transactions with foreign countries and at the same time in total foreign exchange transactions. A large authorization, experience in the performance of foreign payment operations, modern technology, are a guarantee of the quality of services.

Adriatic Bank a.d. Belgradeis a member of the international banking telecommunications system - SWIFT, which ensures safe, fast and efficient execution of international transactions.

Payment from abroad

The notification to the user of the inflow is delivered during the working day, for all inflows received by 3 p.m. The exporter is obliged to, within 24 hours of receiving the notification, inform the Bank about the basis of the charge and the end user of the inflow. Notification to the Bank can be delivered in writing in person, by fax or e-mail. Upon receipt of the inflow notification and accompanying documentation, and no later than 4 p.m., the inflow is processed with the currency date from the SWIFT message.

Payment abroad

For payment abroad, the client (resident - domestic legal entity) is obliged to submit to the bank:

  • signed and stamped payment order (in accordance with the Agreement between the bank and the Client on the use of the seal) which was completed in accordance with the Instructions for the Implementation of the Decision on the Conditions and Method of Performing Payment Transactions with Foreign Countries (Official Gazette of the RS No. 24/2007, 31/2007, 41/2007, 3/2008, 61/82008, 120/2008, 38/2010, 92/2011, 62/2013, 51/2015, 111/2015 and 82/2017);
  • documentation that proves the basis of payment (agreement; pro-invoice; JCI; forms on foreign credit transactions certified by the NBS, etc.).


Non-residents submit a request for payment on a certified (in accordance with the Agreement between the bank and the Client on the use of seals) and signed letterhead, along with accompanying documentation.

Payment orders with secured payment cover, commission in accordance with the Bank's Tariff Policy and appropriate documentation, received at the Bank by 2 p.m., are executed on the same working day. Orders received after the specified deadline are executed on the next working day.

Payment orders can be submitted to the bank:

  • Personally
  • Electronically
  • By post

If the Payment Order is submitted electronically, the client is obliged to submit the accompanying documentation to the Bank as soon as possible.
