Adriatic Bank AD Belgrade has received official approval from the European Payments Council (EPC) to join the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA Credit Transfer) scheme, thereby meeting the conditions to become part of the most important system for cashless euro-denominated payment transactions in the European market as of 4 May this year.

With this step, Adriatic Bank AD Belgrade further aligns itself with the European community of commercial banks within the SEPA payment scheme, with the aim of providing its clients with simpler, faster, and more cost-efficient euro transactions to 41 SEPA member countries. Joining the SEPA area represents a significant milestone in enhancing the customer experience, particularly for clients engaged in cross-border business or frequent euro-denominated payment transactions.

With this development, Adriatic Bank AD Belgrade further confirms its role as a reliable partner in both domestic and international operations, as well as its clear commitment to applying the highest standards of banking practice, efficiency, and security in payment services.

The SEPA scheme enables cashless euro payments to be executed under favorable and standardized conditions across all member countries. The SEPA area comprises a total of 41 countries, including all 27 European Union member states, the European Economic Area countries (Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein), Switzerland, the United Kingdom, as well as Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, the Vatican City State, Albania, Montenegro, Moldova, North Macedonia, and Serbia.

We have enabled you to negotiate more favorable exchange rates for foreign exchange transactions digitally, without visiting a branch.

Through our electronic channels, you can submit a request for exchange rate negotiation, which is reviewed by a banker at the time of submission, while the entire process is carried out quickly, simply, and securely.

Exchange rate negotiation is available on business days within the defined time period, subject to the prescribed minimum transaction amount.

Dear clients,

We want to inform you that, starting from January 5, 2026, with the aim of enhancing security and ensuring compliance with applicable data protection standards, changes will be introduced to the available authentication methods for logging in to the Bank’s eBanking WEB application. These changes are being implemented in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and the requirements for Strong Customer Authentication (SCA).

As part of these changes, the following authentication methods will no longer be available for logging in to the eBanking WEB application:

• Username / Password
• Username / Email / OTP

The following secure authentication methods will remain available, enabling safe and uninterrupted access to the application:

• Token / OTP
• QR code
• Username / Password / OTP

Login to the Bank’s mobile application remains unchanged.
